What have I done now?
Took the falco out for a quick spin before work, im worried now because the engine temperature is all over the place, gets very hot very quickly and goes very cold when at speed. (could new coolant provide this kind of effect?)
clutch seems to have no pressure (but works ok), and is slipping every time i accelerate hard (too much adjustment on the clutch lever, probably, could also do with a quick bleed. i can actually change gear now, which is nice). is it possible that my badly adjusted lever/old fluid could have made the clutch really heavy? seems quite easy to use now....

If you've replaced the coolant, it's odds on that you've got an air-lock somewhere in the system. Basically the system needs to be 'burped' - run it up to temperature while stationary with the radiator cap off. This allows the air pocket to circulate and escape.
Have you changed the oil, and if so, what to? And what year is your bike?

Oil wise, I put some slikolene super 4 in it, 10w40. Mine is a 2001 model.

Sorry, I replied to this thread on my phone - got some things mixed up.
I squeezed all the pipes through that i could find, but didnt 'burp' the system through. Im off to do that now, as well as bleed the clutch through again. My first reply was in reference to Alad, not D-rider (took a while to post on my puny little phone)
It has to be ready for my 90 mile ride up to York tomorrow morning!

Burped the coolant through and it is back to normal now. Also adjusted the clutch adjuster, but still got a little bit of slip there, so need to take some more out. Went to overtake a few times on my 200mile round trip today and really hard acceleration caused it to slip a bit.
The go karting was good too, I came second in the 'champions race' thanks to the third place who kept ramming and spinning me, but it was ok in the end because he got disqualified for it

I got a little trophy and certificate too! yay!
