spark plug caps!
Bloody things!
replaced 3/4 of the spark plugs fine, go to do the rear external one and the cap wouldnt budge. I yanked it a bit harder and the cap came off, but left the inner tip on the actual spark plug. The graphite stuff was also chipped away so couldnt guarantee it would provide a good connection.
Its not like i want to ride the thing ever again :(

Hmnnn that's odd I dont remember seeing you at the school for technical excellence that I was at

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Are you sure? I used to think that when I had my Falco (metal type cap?) but my Mille has rubber NGK caps on it so started to think otherwise. Might be worth another look?Dalemac wrote:Who would have thought that these caps are unique to aprilia too.....oh how wonderful....

Only place i could get it guaranteed by friday was my best friends at ultimate parts (slight hint of sarcasm, did you notice?)

The shorter front cap is NGK VD05EMH, cheap and accessible in the states, not so much here:
