Plus of course the quantity you have to buy.
I think to keep it down I'll do a one off then stick some pics up and work out how much I need so that I can keep the price down.
...... one's enough for me Gio - me best mate ! I'm always telling everyone what a good chap you are!

Why not put it to a poll Gio and count how many you need?
Post on AF1 and offer em up to various commercial outlets too.
Sell em to the commercial dudes for twice the cost then your friends on here (and I count myself as one of your bestest ever) can get em fer nowt.
No?
Oh well worth a try I spose

The Delicate Sound of Thunder
They might be a bit more than a fiver, but having weighed the original red lens and allowing for lets say 50% waste (trimming etc) I think less than a tenner is realistic (including postage)Fausto wrote:Count me in Gio.
£5 did you say ?
I found my agitator this evening (stops bubbles forming in glass) so I imagine it'll work with plastic, time will tell.
One of the good things is that nowadays they use rubber moulds and a release agent (like making tyres I imagine) so moulds should be cheaper to make.
Last moulds I made were plaster of paris, bastards when they chipped and they take a few days to cure. Plus of course you can get tiny pin holes in them and they're heavy

Hope ur plan comes to fruition for all our sakes
Cheers,

I use these

I think they look better than the red bulb option as they are sort of invisible. Not the brightest in the world though.
I've tried the LED replacements, but had problems with them flickering although others have used them without any problems. When I was using them a mate following me did comment that he couldn't tell when I was braking. When I had a look I had to agree that there did seem to be little difference between stop and tail, it was a very sunny day though.
