"I get 2 million miles out a back tyre" malarkey?????
Bt014 were the last proper tyres I bought. 2k from a rear.
Bt020 mebbes get 2.5k or 3k at the most
So what am I doing wrong?
Or should I be laying off the throttle a bit more often?
Possibly
Or should I stick with part worn Pirrelli Super Corsa at 40/50 quid each and carry on regardless?

I tried Avon Azzaros years ago and got 5k front and 2.9K rear.
Always used Bridgestone before since, normally a mix, with an 014 front and 020/021 rear, which I think works very well.
BT 020 rears have given 4.2k, 4.9k, and 5.3k, latest 021, still on and OK at 6k+.
BT 014 fronts 7.5k and 6.3k, latest 021 front struggling at around 6k. I only fitted it when they stopped making the 014.
021 on front has never been as good for me and has worn in a strange way.
Will probably fit 023s next but just put a new 190 Roadsmart on the rear of the Kwack, with a front to follow shortly, and very interested to see how I get on with them.
You
could just buy all the old original Metzlers at some silly price, (that people have at the back of their garages!) and ride a lot slower at a very cheap price, or buy whatever suits your budget and enjoy yourself as you do now!
Good luck with the part worn Super Corsas Andy!
