Apparently they think it may have been a ship based problem. Some Tw@t not cleaning out the ship's hold prior to carrying fuel.

Yeh I heard that, one rogue ship!
Must have been a big ship if it indirectly managed refill the tanks at so many supermarkets around the country!

Have you
seen the size of a supertanker? Now imagine how many lorry-sized tankers it takes to empty one!

Did think about that, but was not sure how that related to storage depots and thousands of supermarket petrol storage tanks. The again I would never argue with a bloke from Aberdeen about the oil business.
Do have some sympathy with the bloke who didn't clean out the supertanker's tanks though. That would be a job and a half with a hose pipe and a yard brush, even worse than an 800 mile round trip from Aberdeen to Newark this Sunday.

More likely they flush it out en-route home into the sea

I just want to know how the fcuk they managed to sail it into Tescos forecourt. My bloody missus has trouble getting in there in the car, let alone a sodding great tanker ship

A lot?
Is that it?
If we have another week of this rain I'll need a boat not a bike
