My bad. I meant to say fuel injection. its one of the sensors that help the engine management decide what to do

why did it cost over £200 to get a lamba sensor replaced :smt017 it's a two min job and on average cost about £40.

Must have been a big ship if it indirectly managed refill the tanks at so many supermarkets around the country!

Have you seen the size of a supertanker? Now imagine how many lorry-sized tankers it takes to empty one! :smt002

Did think about that, but was not sure how that related to storage depots and thousands of supermarket petrol storage tanks. The again I would never argue with a bloke from Aberdeen about the oil business.
Do have some sympathy with the bloke who didn't clean out the supertanker's tanks though. That would be a job and a half with a hose pipe and a yard brush, even worse than an 800 mile round trip from Aberdeen to Newark this Sunday. :smt002

I just want to know how the fcuk they managed to sail it into Tescos forecourt. My bloody missus has trouble getting in there in the car, let alone a sodding great tanker ship

reckon its more than just petrol thats been affected, i had 8 pints of Stella last night and started acting very strangely. :smt078
