I've got Motad Venom cans on mine and they are feckin' loud. Today I had to try to sneak past a possee of 6 Gendarmes on their Beemers and Kwaks with the throttle barely open so I didn't get a tug. I'm sure they must have heard me coming though, you can't miss it!
BTW it is illegal to either sell or use performance enhancing "products" over here, as bikes are supposed to remain stock. Yeh right! Points off yer license! (You start with points here and they remove them for ahem.. transgressions). So the name of the game is to keep your UK license and keep your nose clean so as they don't force you to swap it for a French one...

Is this just for French machines or visiting Brits too ?

Only for French registered machines. There are moves afoot to change it as it is not in line with EC rules on cross-border trade (well the 100HP limit anyway) but time moves slow in these here parts....

I agree the ovals probably look better than the tri ovals would.

The welds on the end caps are just gorgeous in titanium.

The sound with the baffles in is just a deeeeeep thudding sound but not too loud. Like a big V twin should sound.
My neighbour, who has a Daytona 955 with race can fitted, (sound fantastic too, gotta love those triples) was with me when I fired her up.
He loved it, so no problem with him then :smt023

Remove the baffles though & holy cow. Almost made me moist :smt055
Very deep pulses & piggin' loud too. Think the baffles may stay in :smt088
