or you can ask an average sized falco owner to sit on the rear saddle - amazingly that small amount of added weight lifts the front end....
(I have a headstock lift that I use with the abba stand.... and I do use the attachment through the foot peg holder to allow a lot of things to be removed - I am very kind to Green Flag Staff....)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

They are a couple of quid cheaper at My Tool Shed:spiderwheels wrote:While searching for a 30mm and a 32mm socket I came across this:

Now given I was looking at a minimum of £14 just for those two socket sizes.. forking out another £33 for a whole set of quality tools didn't seem such a bad idea.. Although I am getting worried I'm buying tools like some people buy shoes..

I know 'cos I've just bought a set! At that price it seemed rude not to. But postage will probably even up the difference for you. I bought some other stuff and got it up to the amount needed for free postage. Which probably made the socket set slightly less of a bargain, I suppose...

Well I don't actually need a new 1/2" drive set ..... though a socket from the set I've had for about 40 did split last year and the ratchet broke (though I have bought a new one) ..... but I have got some amazon vouchers that I haven't got a plan for ....mangocrazy wrote:They are a couple of quid cheaper at My Tool Shed:spiderwheels wrote:While searching for a 30mm and a 32mm socket I came across this:

I might end up persuading myself ....

I'm a big fan of Bahco stuff. I also have the 1/4" drive set, the SL25:
http://www.buybrandtools.com/acatalog/b ... tAodHVYAyg
It's been an absolutely cracking little socket set and gets used all the time. If the 1/2" drive set is as good as the little 'un (and I have no reason to believe it won't be), then I'll be very pleased.
What they don't show you on the photos of the 1/2" drive set is that theres a clip-in lid that separates the socket side of the set from the extension bar side, and stops the sockets falling out and rearranging themselves when you carry the set around. They also have a little nut/odds and ends holder incorporated in the carry case. It's little attention to detail like this that means a lot in daily use.

A great little 1/4" drive set that I've got is this one:
Teng Tools T1419

Tiny little set, easily fits in your pocket.
It's not as extensive as the one Mango posted up but the size and quality is brilliant.
The price was good .... got it free when I took out a subscription to Lead Magazine (well I think it must be called "Lead" as it has "Pb" written on the cover)
