OOPS, I've really F'kd that up!
Put a set of nice shiny and noisy cans on the bike a bit back and took a lot of care to get them nice and evenly spaced and level.
Then did the unthinkable, didn't have a quick shake down run and check!
So the left can has been smashing the swing arm and has gouged a significant chunk out of it.
Thankfully I noticed it as I was just about to head down to Norwich to see the kids, getting the train now.
It probably would have been fine, but the consequences of it collapsing don't bear to think about.
So who in the Norwich area is likely to have a spare one and the special tool for removing it, hmmm?

Thanks to the most awesome D-Rider chap I'll have a swingarm winging its way to Scotland soon, cheers mate.
And thanks again to Nero for the offer.

The courier picked it up this morning.

Got to my mates last night to prep her garage for the impending swingarm swap and had my 1st look at D-Riders swingarm, thanks again mate.
Looks good mate, One of the ball bearings was reluctant to move at first, but seems to be running ok now, I'll pull the needles out, clean, regrease and refit since it's reasonably easy, but the balls will stay in.
Pete, apologies again for the fuck up, but ex-wives are a law unto themselves, managed to get a tool from Amazon delivered the next day.
Bought yet another set of tools and torque wrench from screwfix and if I ever drag my sorry arse out of this café I might even make a start today.
Again my thanks to all involved either directly or by way of offer
