Hi all,
I got my mate to make bespoke brackets to fit under the sub-frame where there are to sets of bolts are on each side

Made out of stainless, soon to be powder-coated gold

My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!

Got em sorted eventually! I mounted em off the rear mudguard brackets lower side-mounting bolt (there are two). :)
That make sense!?!?
Shoulda took a photo! lol
Had to cut a slot out of both sides of the tail unit to accommodate the steel spacer I had to use.
All good now tho!

We'll have to meet up when/if the weather improves a bit.
Still have a few biker mates that might be up fer a blast out some time and my younger brother got an 01 Mille at the end of last year and is in the process of blinging it up! lol (Big-bore throttle bodies, K&N, airbox mod, PC3 USB, race chip and Danmoto crazy-loud zorst, among other things!)
LOVING the roar of un-baffled Rene's! lol

Would
love to (and the matching chip of course) but they rarely come up for sale and are usually a small fortune (so my Missus has told me) when they do!
Actually, my brother is on this very minute hacking up his airbox (2000 Mille) and, using car-door seal, is in the process of trying to replicate that 'open-airbox vibe'! lol I'll prolly wait and see how his experiment goes and then try it myself!

Unless of course, theres one round here going cheap........

There's a good write up floating about somewhere on this site with the air box chop. It's a cracking job the guy had done. Used a little off the front of his air box lid to hold the filter in place and for a better seal as far as memory serves...

Exactly how my Bro has done it. I haven't seen him to find out if the car door seal idea works tho... I'm not convinced it will reach high enough up to seal with the tank...

Put grease or something on the rubber seal then put your tank down. Upon lifting the tank you'll see he grease marks on the underside. You'll be able to make some kind of guess at how good a seal it is by the marks no?

Look online and you will find there is a huge selection of different types of door seals...
Just research how paddy made his for the write up
This is different to the renegade solution as it is closer to the evo version
Griff may have some hooked renegade copies...
The renegade chip you want - the +10 version is like rocking horse shit - though I know a forum member just acquired one for 30 quid....

You doing your own version of a how-to with pics? I'm going to be doing the same and would quite like a couple things to refer to...

Does anybody know what the +10 actually refers to? And as Renegade are no longer in business, would it be a terrible sin to copy the chip...? Just askin' like...
