TBH it's Yamaha that I am disappointed with.
They might have contracts with Jorge and Rossi but we all know how easily they buy people out and tear the contracts up.
The sensible thing would have been to ditch the under-performing Rossi who has walked out on them in the past and is approaching the end of his career and look to the future by employing the quicker rider that wanted to stay with them.
Cal has clearly gone for financial security rather than a bike on which he can achieve podiums. He'll be financially very wealthy but far less likely that his name will go down in history with such prominence ..... unless he can ride that Ducati. He has shown in the past that he can adapt to the bike - another thing Rossi couldn't do - so who knows, he might even manage to perform on a Ducati (though I won't hold my breath)

It's exactly as Paul says, so where did he go, Pol has his Tech 3 bike already. Bradl saved his skin last time out.
Yamaha are too skint to run 5 bikes, (and can't even manage three full works bikes at the moment).
Honda may have been able to run 5 or more bikes, but concentrating fully on the "Production" RC213V bikes, (which look like very good news for MotGP grids).
Which leaves him riding the dead Duck, (sorry Duke)!
He might just do something with it, like another before, (Casey).
The Audi money and technical problem solving ability must help.
Looks bad up front now, but lets wait and see with fingers crossed.
It could just work for him, so keep positive.
I remember that Italian bloke who moved from Honda to Yamaha, (who were a joke at the time), and won first time out!
