Just been out and fitted my new sidestand - an '04 Fireblade one.
It went on with little fuss - used the Aprilia mount, but had to file down some welds on the back, used the Blade spring and stand and the Aprilia switch.
Really makes you wonder how Aprilia got away with supplying what they did at the time - it is a revalation how stable the bike is now!

Should have got the 05 stand. No filing required at all.
The Fireblade stand although it sticks out further still keeps the big quite upright so care needs taking when parking up.

From what I found out the 04 to 07 stands are the same part.
I ended up trimming about 15mm from the Fireblade stand, better still in my opinion.
(Edit - I currently have the standard shock & therefore rideheight)
Here's how they compare.

You guys clearly don't have the ride height jacked up enough. The bike will be at the right angle without any modifications when you raise the rear ride height. And it will steer much better, as well...

AFAIK - the 04 - 07 stands are all the same - the filing down of the welds was more to do with the poor Aprilia workmanship that was catching on the heavier duty fork at the top of the Honda stand.
I notice what you mean about the bike being more upright - not much in it at all though - my original stand never leaned over as far as your picture - possibly due to the rear shock being the Mille unit?
I'll possibly trim it down at some point when I get my hands on a welder for an afternoon but it doesn't worry me at the moment - unlike the original!!!

Completely O/T - Why do you have those rear indicator extenders? I thought they were an OZ-only requirement.
(Parts 26 and 27 above)

Bike was like that - when I bought it, I always thought it was a USA import bike!?
Had noticed that the ID label doesn't match the example in the manual.
Is mine an Australian ?

Australia has the USA colours ..... but without the benefit of the use sidestand ....

does your bike have a criminal record and no olympic medals to speak of?
if so it is likely to be an aussie bike....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
