Thanks for thinking of me & the squid - for my past, I'd love to come on this thrash, but if the majority have settled on that date, I shan't be overly offended - might stamp my red-booted foot, thoughblinkey501 wrote:19th of august was the date Howard but i am hoping that maybe we can alter that has it may be a bit selfish but i like martdude and randsomesquids company.HowardQ wrote:I must have missed something, as I didn't think we had fixed an exact date yet, but I'm pretty free until mid September, so hopefully I will be able to work around others.
And i am sure thay would like to attend for the ride out also
Firestarter will also be able to attend at a later date also maybe

Obviously other meets before then are great .... as long as everybody makes sure they don't use up their pass-outs for the Not-A-Wake weekend.
Hopefully we'll have a very good gathering of them at the forum weekend in Norfolk (1st weekend in Sept)Sleepyboy wrote:so lets move the date then?
Would be excellent top have a large gathering of Falcos out in one go - we can see who still has the EU headlight fitted....![]()
Nominations for a new date?

School holidays and all that
Has in regards to the buxton meet i would like to arrange another date, we had a lot of admiring looks with the aprilia's in convoy last time,
or maybe peolple thinking stupid buggers riding in the shitty weather.
Maybe kiwiboy might want to come again, it was nice that kerry travelled such a great distance to come and see us last time

or helped to
Just one comment about where we might meet.
Having organised one meeting at Newark Barge and helped to organise another, there is not much point saying meet somewhere at 12:00 and expecting lots of people to come long distances and all get there on time.
I seem to remember that the first people to arrive at Newark got there at 11:30 and the last arrived after 14:15 hrs, so it is good to meet at a bike meeting place like Newark Barge where you can also get all kinds of drinks hot and cold and also get a meal or a snack.
Can't say I have ever been to Morrisons Car Park (
), but might it not be better to meet at the Cat and Fiddle itself.
It is also nice to see the faces on other bikers when more and more Falcos turn up, as many have never seen one Falco never mind 10 or 20.
Our site people coming from different parts of the country can all turn up at a time that suits them best.
Others can still meet up on the way in and arrive in groups.
