Indeed it does. I noticed that fairly quickly. Well, slowly actually, as the speedo under-reads.D-Rider wrote:..... and may also have some impact on speedo accuracy (just worth being aware)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Hopefully when I get Sam's CBR back up and running I can get back to the task of checking the consistency of the blacktop at Snetterton and Brands.. The RSV is reserved for Porsche beating duties along the A14 and A11.

you go there on thursday to get the pensioners discount andy?
I assume you do not need to show any ID - no one who sees that amount of grey in your beard would doubt about your pensionability.....

In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.
Know it well.. was going to say it was in my old stomping ground but from the looks of it me bloody Grandfather and my Father got there first..
Bloody hooligans. No wonder I used to get my collar felt by the old bill every weekend when I came home.
Oh and you can get 72 down there on an RXS100 with a skimmed head and a bit of port work.

Just reviving this thread, as I went out on the Falco for another blat on Saturday before the rains came, and I have to say how hugely impressed I am with the Dunlop Sportsmarts I've recently fitted.
They're bloody excellent; total confidence, precise and accurate steering, grip in spades with real poise and flickability. I've not encountered any wet roads yet, so can't say how they work under wet conditions, but in the dry they are definitely the best tyre I've ever used.
Where the 190/55 rear profile really scores is the way you can get the power down on corner exit. It really digs in and drives out hard. Lovely stuff.
To quote Monty Python: Oh God - you're so Big. So absolutely Huge. We're all really impressed down here, I can tell you...
