Hey looks great I'll have it when your bored ... Oh and while I am here apparently the Germans beat the Greeks at football the other night in the Euro championship ... That's right isn't it Sam ? ;) only being here in Russia I am relying on all those updates you've been sending cheers mate keep em coming ;)
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Well Ive had it for a week or so. All good so far.
current list of possible mods/planned mods/bits ive bought for it
1. Numberplate.. Personalised one. Don't like the one on it. Just waiting for docs to come back sorted.
2. Rene slip on can (100 quid) (awaiting delivery)
3. Shotgun cans for when I fancy playing (waiting for Hempnall Aprilia Centre to take delivery of them for me..)
4. Paddock stand front 'n rear. (25 quid, job jobbed) DELIVERED theyre ok but front stand tips bent astray by 5mm which affects things. large hammertime...
5. Elongated Triangle bolts M10 x 70mm as the triangles I had fitted are slightly thicker than the originals. (4 quid c/w washers and nyloc nuts) DELIVERED Just got to fit 'em now :)
Thats it at the mo, doesn't need anything else at present. I will be playing with the airbox at some stage, suspension and will probably get a couple of chips, one for the rene and one for the shotguns.
Oh and waiting for info back on airkit and suspension overhaul
My shorter Blue Flame twinport will be available soon, however can with no linkpipe.
*edit to include prices for future reference

I wasn't too keen on the colour originally, wanting a Mk1 in Yellow or else a Red 'n Black one, but it's grown on me and I do like the silver.
Only downside is its an 03, so it's the facelift model with a slightly different panelset than the earlier ones.. as I found out when my seat hump arrived. bit of a faux pas on my part.. I shouldve known that.. it fits, but looks out of place. doesnt bother me too much and I'll probably battlefield repair it to fit..using some rubber, a few rivets and a bit of duct tape.
Blue peter eat yer heart out!

Love the colour and, even better, the bike seems to have you fired up again.
Enjoy the bike and the modding.

Alad..
looking at the pic of this facelift 03/04 Mille.. isnt that the same airbox lid as the one we swapped out? The one we decided was restrictive and crap?

That's just a Gen1 Mille - I've one of those airboxes sat around. The base is the same as the Falcos but the lid is a different shape - although it is the same volume.
01-03 models all had this same lid (2000 and earlier was a different part part number)
The 94 onwards GenII RSVR1000 airbox looks like this (with a flat filter):

Tim's airbox was wrong - the top was certainly not right
My guts tell me that the previous owner had had something like a renegade fitted and when putting it back to standard anything was fitted....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Renegade slip on turned up today..
Only a brand-new-still-in-the-box-never-been-fitted-to-a-bike-ever Renegade!!
It has now been fitted and run up and sounds absolutely perfect.
it IS a road legal one but it's only road legal by one very small tack weld holding the Db Killer in that may fail due to..umm... metal fatigue??
Wanders off in search of a metal fatigue-ing tool..
