Pet Returned

An American couple were distraught when the pet given to them as a wedding present disappeared.
Despite a campaign of posters on lamp posts and messages on Twitter appealing for its safe return, the broken-hearted husband and wife thought they would never see their dearly-loved pet again.

However, this is a story with a very happy ending thanks to a huge international search pulling in thousands of members of the scientific and engineering communities.
