When i 1st got a decco at Pete's stubby exhaust (hacksaw job?) I wondered if he was all there

So "choice parts" makes me wonder if thats one of the cast offs

actually i have both the original cut down cored can and i also have the ultra stubby can.....

i had forgotten about those :)

I considered big windycators.. nice, if you're that way inclined (and theyre not going near my bike!) however I decided to buy some gold blingy hobbit triangles.

probably all 3, but only at weekends.

Currently bidding on a colour perfect seat hump although I feel it's shill bidded..

I'll probably give in and buy it anyways..

Don;t want to rain on your parade Tim, just want to give you something to think about.

I've always been a bit sceptical about these types of lowering kits as they must change the geometry of the suspension and therefore the performance of the shock. You'd be well advised to have a thorough play with the settings to see if you can still get the sag in the correct range so that you dont turn the beast into an wild animal that you find hard to live with.

I'm sure you know enough about setting up the suspension to be know if you are in the zone or not, so just a word to the wise

Oh, another thing I meant to say.

The front end can be dropped a long way on these, the physical limiting factor will be ground clearance and front wheel/radiator interface issues and the ride factor would be increased twitchiness, but there should be a damper there to help with that.

Well picked it up this morning, has taken longer to buy a pair of boots to be honest, turned up checked the paperwork and then it was wheeled outside whilst I put my leathers on. Nice weather in that it wasn't raining but a little bit windy (well it is the fens) which was appreciated as it has a brand new tyre on the front that needs scrubbing in..

Missus was following me home so stuck to a steady bimble rather than using the throttle.. Dont think I went above 7k at all on the way back, mainly due to that sodding tyre

Anyways a few shots I took earlier:

Need to look at the suspension as it looks like its all to cock. I havent checked whether it's got a ride adjuster at the bottom of the shock or not but it is an optional item on the RSV.

Oh and D-R, it is an 03 model. 10th digit along gives the year of manufacture off the VIN number?

It's got a new battery, a Meta alarm, and a stubby Blueflame Zorst. Ive got rid of the Dynojet stickers as they looked too chavish.

It goes like f*ck. Even without giving it the berries properly.

And I can touch the floor.. just not as flatfootedly as Gio might..

I'm with Pops in reminding you about changing the geometry of the handling.
Of course you will have less far to fall than most .....
