Fun day, nice to meet that Australian bloke too. Except for all the rain and the bike breaking down at the petrol station eight miles from home. Alarm fob went tits. A very nice man took me to get the spare one.

Despite the weather, and the 'commute' to the rendezvous , had a fab time. Couple of pics now on the Facebook Falco page. 440 miles there and back for me. Knackered and supping some girly booze to recover.

The weather cleared up when i got to Hathersage, And when i reached sheffield the sun was out.
Bad weather in buxton but good company. There will be another time with i hope better weather.

... Still trying to sort out the usernames from the real ones (mart's sticks coz he IS Mart - and a pipe-rockin' dude). Right back atcha Blinky! Seriously had to concentrate with the northern accents -oft resorting to nods and smiles when a particular line of convo eluded my babel fish. Really enjoyed riding 4 of a kind and 3 of a colour scheme and the attention we got. Peurile perhaps lol. Liked that boys adjustable rear sets too - imagine - knees at a sensible angle! Babbling now (girly drink kicking in)

He was there in spirit and his name was invoked a few times. As was yours when my alarm wouldn't let me go home. Weather cleared up when Jay split off though, I guess every cloud has a silver Falco.

I was told that fitting was an hours labour but I was having it serviced at the same time and he forgot to charge me, I've heard that happens quite a lot there.

The sun came out by the time I reached Shifnal; my soggy bollocks had more or less dried out when I got home.

BTW, Geoff, there's a Morrison's in Stone - we missed that one. And thanks for organising the details. Nice caff.

Looks like i was lucky with just having to hang my gloves on the washing line
