Buxton peak district Saturday 9th June

#1 Post by flatlander » Sat Jun 02, 2012 9:58 am

As is mentioned in the ponderosa thread by a few people thought I'd be nice and start a thread for all :)
Buxton peak district play time Saturday 9th? Anyone meeting places can be sorted at some point but just hanging the sign out for now
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

any particular petrol station or do you groom in a martini like fashion - anytime, any place anywhere.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Sadly I doubt I will be going to this meet as it's my wife's wedding anniversary this wednesday and she's working the week. If I convince her to enjoy our time together on my bike then maybe a chance but I ain't holding my breath.

Yes I am aware of how I put it!

Forecast doesn't look too bad; dry, but cool. But that's ok, I do cool well, in my new red boots

A really FANTASTIC road is the cat and fiddle but the powers that be have put average speed cameras on there.
I would meet there but last year when we all arranged to meet at the pub it was early morning, The pub was shut. And it was freezing :smt104 .
And to top it all off some were late :smt087

From your neck of the woods it cuts straight through to buxton :smt002

I'll probably be going via Stone & Leek; anyone else going via either of these way-points?
