Sorry for re-railing, but I'm wondering why it was announced on New Year's Day. What are they trying to deflect attention away from :smt017

It won't make a blind bit of difference of course, if kids want to smoke they'll find a way of getting the stuff.

The 16 yr old limit never stopped my local corner shop selling singles for 10p to us 14yr olds on our dinner break .... it's going to be even harder to prove that someone is 18, let alone 16....

perhaps it's their way of telling us that we'll all be carrying ID cards by then :smt003

Our local shop (Shaz's work) did a 'Think 30' age check over the festive period.

It obviously started out a few years ago with the '16' to buy fags thing.. asking for ID, etc..
Then they decided to go for the ' Think 18' where they checked ID for booze..
Then 'Think 21' because the youth of today look older than they are..
Now it's think 30!! WHY!!!!!!!!

I.. ME.... Got asked for ID!!!

I dont exactly look young, have ..very slightly..greying hair, tattoos, kids in tow.. and they asked me for ID!!!!!
