PW50

#1 Post by blinkey501 » Sun Apr 15, 2012 7:35 am

I bought reece a pw 50 for his birthday spares or repair. I have had the bike running but the float in the carb keeps sticking. And fuel is coming out of the overflow.
I have stripped, cleaned everything in the float chamber including removing the needle and every thing looks spot less.
I have done this 3 times bit still the same problem.
Have i missed something, that makes this keep re occuring?
Or is it time for a new carb? :smt017

Leaky float or worn needle?

Edit - Just looked at your link - at that price it's not worth messing about with the old carb!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.
