Schlosser has just put together another racing Falco.
Brilliant!

The exhaust is wonderful ...

I like that. Colour's a bit KTM though. :smt004
I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

... yep, incredible! Reminds me of the 'intestines' on the Britten V-twin racer.

No Ohlins forks or radial calipers which is surprising. The Showa forks can be made very good though, wonder what's inside them. Doubt it's the 20mm Racetech kit I had in my Mille's. :smt017

i would say that schlosser's bike is in the top two falcos - have a look at radial falco's for the other one.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Two very different bikes but I wouldn't want to pick one over the other. :smt023

Might get the 28mm pipe bender out and knock up my own underslung exhausts. Imagine a Beetle running on two cylinders. :smt112

28mm would be seriously undersized for a 500cc cylinder; double that diameter, at least... What was the problem with the RaceTech kit you had? I've got RaceTech gold valves in my Showas and they made a BIG improvemnet over standard.

But that bike of Schlosser's (and especially the exhaust) is incredible. I daren't think of the cost involved...

Nothing at all wrong with the Racetech kits but, as you say, there's been some serious money thrown at this bike and I doubt they'd have stopped at a 20mm kit.

I wouldn't seriously attempt to make a 28mm system. It didn't work on my Desmosedici so I doubt it'd work on a Falco. :smt003

Yeah - we've all got one of those and experienced just the same problem. Worked better on our NR750s though.

Your copper must have been a bit oval. :smt017

Nah - separate tubes for each port - all fitted together with conex joints. We tried this new-fangled plastic push-fit stuff but it just melted

Obviously this an out and out track weapon.
But i was wondering what the thoughts were to not having an expansion bottle fitted to the bike?
