Looking to purchase either an Autocom or Scala system, obviously it's corded v wireless but has anyone tried both, keen to know about the quality/clarity of sound more than anything?

I like the fact that it's all contained on/in the helmet with no wires getting in the way.
I guess a system that can be powered rather than running from its internal battery can potentially run for longer - but most situations won't need that.

i prefer the stardom system - which is wired
i have used bluetooth in the past, but have found that in a busy area - i.e. driving around that poxy gridlocked carpark known as the m25 the bluetooth can get interesting
main reason why i like the stardom - i can add bits to it - as well as intercom i also have my sat nav connected and if i need it my phone - the scala bluetooth systems cannot do that
(Oh contact the main suppliers and ask for a discount for any of these)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

yeah the Scalas can connect, have bought some mini bluetooth receiver's/senders off ebay so i can connect DAB/Satnav to my helmet speakers...but with loud pipes and ear plugs the quality isn't great
I'm edging towards the Autocom as it's plug in, i have so many things these days to charge up it does my head in! I didn't like the idea of the Scala unit attaching to the helmet and at the same time wasn't sure about being connected by bike with a wire and forgetting it's there, although it's possible to have the socket near the front of the bike so I don't forget it's there?
Sportsbikesshop are currently including the Bluetooth Module worth £79.00 if you buy before 16th March

and yes, I made a bracket for a bulkhead mount that is by my front left clip on bar... ideal as i then loop it around the clutch reservoir - stops it coming out at silly speeds :)
and yes you may well be able add bluetooth devices - but i am just an old stick in the mud with my wires :) I have also added a PTT radio system.....
Oh - have a look at your helmet to ensure you can get a set of earpieces etc in there :)
