Simon, AKA Geordielad (but he's defected - now has a Guzzi)
From an Aprilia to a Guzzi? Nowt so queer as motorcyclists.
And it was Griff I was looking at, paint his nails and he'd be a dead ringer :smt002

If I weren't quite so couth I'd perhaps feel that this was the correct juncture to gesticulate and loudly utter, 'You fat bastard.'

Still, having met him I now have an answer to the great pie conundrum.

Yeah

You got there first :)

(and mart is only skinny due to his hog roast diet.... Nasty way to lose weight but he seems to like it...)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

The faster black got there first - I just walked back to see which pie shop you had stopped at....

I stopped at all of them - they were out of stock...

To un-derail the thread for a minute. The top of the Aprilia panniers are about level with the top of the hump. Throw a towel on the hump - instant platform to strap roll bag on. Never leave home without a towel.

The best way to set up a bike for touring is to...........

GET ON IT AND RIDE. :smt003
I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

You'll probably find that you're too late and a German has their towel down already ..............

And / or female Germans and their towels
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

*cough*

"is this thing on?"

On the subject of humps, Did the Falco come standard with a pillion pad and a hump cover? I assume if using a tail pack you are better off having the pillion pad in place?
