Pot kettle ?
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

obviously it wasn't on a public highway.
I have a long drive.

I must say, it does it well though, quite quickly too.
It's a hell of a motor and that's for sure.

Anyway, aren't speed limits for bikes advisory only?

:smt003 The thought would be nice but at that speed you are looking at a lengthy ban, BIG fine and possible jail :smt018

That's almost 60mph off the pace for an Aprilia:

I've seen 220km/hr on mine (that's 137miles/hr) and the engine was pulling like a train. After that, the cruise on the freeway felt very slow...
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

Had the speedo on max on a GSXR thou once , on a private road of course , and that was reading 186 mph .......does that count ?. And just to make sure it wasn't wrong I swapped it for the next year’s model and managed to get that one to do the same on the same private road .........The only bike I would swap my Falco for , and yes the Falco is slow compared to that BUT I’m still breathing !!!

Does that make me sensible now ??? :smt005

The received wisdom is that Aprilia speedos are pretty accurate whereas Suzuki speedos are notoriously optimistic ... that said, the Suzuki would still be faster.

According to the satnav I have to do 110 on the kwak to register 100. The Falco is always within 1-2 mph.
