shhh - he is a virgin... we have to go slowly

(And if i find out where he lives i can pop round with the paint...)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

paint, what paint? It that a yellow hate or yellow love referance?
Where is the harleston guy located? I do have a mate who is a good bike mechanic, just usefull to know of any Aprilia specialists locally.

As the weather is good I might have a go at fitting the scottoiler today, any tips? I have printed off the falco instructions from their website so should be ok.

I do have a photobucket account so will sort out a pic or 2 later when I turn on the pc (can't seem to do it from my phone)

cheers guys.

The world has Chris Evans, Ron Weesley, Mick Hucknall, Nooj, Yagman

.... and the world of Falcos does suffer in a similar manner ....

Though on a positive note, there is Karen Gillan .............

I like the yellow ones, and that is a very nice example of same. When people decry the yellow Falcos and boast proudly about their rust-coloured ones, it does make you wonder...

However I think they'd look absolutely sublime with the later black frame acting as a contrast (and even better with a black swingarm as well). It would be an awful lot of work to do it yourself though.

My old 888 had a white frame which quickly got tatty no matter how much I tried to keep it looking good. Eventually I bit the bullet, stripped it down to its major component parts and got the frame powder coated dark gunmetal. It looked great after that, but it was a lot of work.

It's banter Graham.
It might not be a colour I'd choose myself but it's still a Falco and that's great.

Yellow Falco or some lesser bike ..... I'll take Karen Gillan every time ....

It is a fact that flashy yellow is the least of the favourite colours, But obviously it floats your boat....
If we was all the same it would be a boring place :smt002
You say it has done 50,000 miles and the pictures show it has been looked after.
What ever the colour these bikes are awsome, and i would be quite happy for you to park your flashy bike next to mine :smt023.

all comments and oponions gladly recieved :smt001
i love the colour but i think i am going to do something with the mid fairings. i would like to get them painted but abit beyond my budget at the mo. so i might experiment with some vinyl.

she still needs a damn good clean as i dont think the last owner bothered much. despite my efforts to spruce her up there is still alot of crud if you look closely. could probably do with a decent steam/pressure wash but im not sure how to tackle it byself, dont want to damage anything.
