Thanks for clearing that up for me, D-Rider. I think I'll stick with the setup I've got, then.
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

interestingly enough, when aprilia were racing the milles, they did try a dual can set up on certain tracks....

apparently that suited the track better than the single can

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Yes it does, i have googled it. 321 stainless is simular to 304 grade but with a higher titanium content.
I am wondering if 304 would be good enough for the balance pipes on the mille collector mod :smt017

I have looked and found that 310 is exsaust grade and it has better heat resistant properties but is a lot more expensive than 304 sooooo.

I've heard Jorge called a lot of things, but never Ted Rogers!!! :smt005 :smt005

Although he did have a few dusty bins..

Couldnt begin to comment on which grade to use. Maybe the cheapest for testing purposes then recreate the final one in something more slinky and expensive.. then selling the cheaper one off for thousands, like the Raspberry Pi project did with their beta boards...

I've got aftermarket 304 downpipes on the kwak. They were cheap but they're not pretty.

I do wonder what grade of 'stainless' Aprilia used on the Falco headers and pipes. It''s the shittiest stainless I've ever seen and spoils the look of the bike quite badly. No wonder belly pans are so popular...
