Ultrasonic carb cleaning service
Just found this on Facebook; thought it might possibly be of interest to some, especially those with older Kwaks

For the price of a bank of fours carbs being cleaned i'd be tempted to buy a unit off ebay and do it myself. For ease and lack of hassle, they'd be a good option though

I was looking at one in Lidl a couple of weeks ago (about £20 I think),wasn't convinced it was big enough to be of any use for carbs. I believe it was the same size as CD and approx an inch or two deep. I would be onterested to know if that's about the same size as yours and wether you've found it to be useful.D-Rider wrote:I bought mine from Aldi - it was less than £20
.... of course you have to get them during the short period they stock them each year ....

I must admit I've been looking at ultrasonic parts cleaners, as they are great for cleaning up carbs (I have a carbed VFR750), as well as injectors, both petrol and diesel. I figured that I'd need, at a minimum, something around 150mm cubed (a 6 inch square box for the imperialists) to be of any real use. The cheapest one I've seen that fits the bill is this one:

I've been waiting to see if it drops in price, but no movement as yet...

I was originally looking at one from a German seller, but as he was selling the same thing in Germany for the same price in €uros, I figured I was being taken for a ride...
Picking it up tomorrow, a report will be along in due course. Got to find some suitable cleaning fluid now...

I'm guessing Mango's does a better job but if you want something cheap
