Well i have done the clutch jet in both bikes.
The mercury selecting neutral was never a problem but i thought what the hell.
The oasis was a different story, neutral was always a problem but it hits neutral first time everytime so i am well happy.
Andy thanks for the thread and pete the cocktail stick worked a treat

I took a clutch jet to bapp for bolts, and sourced a screw driver that was has near has dammit fit.
I had to fettle the screw driver to make sure it fit spot on so it did not round the edges off the jet.
This was done on the advice of aladinsane, and i extend my gratitude.
I would advise you do the same has the jets came out first time no messing .
The clutch jet is in a hole and if it was to round off i can only imagine it would be game over...

I might give it a go as it's been Griff who's had two attempts, there's a few ideas on here and AF1, I think i remember reading you recomending some liquid to help loosen it before i attempt myself, will get the new jet next week, sort the right screwdriver and try the wire/toothpick and give it a go...any other suggestions/help most welcome!
Ah - see what you mean - drill out as in "remove by drilling" rather than "increase size of orifice by drilling".
I've not recommended any magic liquid - I'd be careful about what I squirt in an oil filled area and don't like the idea of creating brass swarf in there either.
You might get it out with an easy-out but I think that if it won't come out with a screwdriver, I'd leave it well alone - the risks outweigh the benefits.
