Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

With that attitude, how will i ever get one
Just need to find a good one. Preferably black (it looks the fastest colour), with a belly pan, and little else in the way of modification.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2002-Aprilia- ... 45ff0c1b4f
This one has been listed a few times has it has not reached the reserve.
It was up for £2100 buy it now origionally, A black crow i have seen go for £1800. This is a late registered black one has they were made in 1999/2000?
This one has the ohlins fitted which is a modification which is normal to falco's and some nice aftermarket cans.
These mods have got to be worth £300?
I would be tempted to see if it sells and ask them what they would take for it, but i think it will be £2000.
A 2002 bike i think is worth £2000, but that is down to opinions and what you think its worth of course

Do we know who bought this one? have we a new member on board?

Tolerance will be our undoing.

I was watching it, but was put off by the 4 owners ( think that's too many for that type of bike and mileage), painted fairings and shit sticker across the front.

I don't know. The guy is being a bit weird. I made an offer, it was rejected. I asked him a couple of questions, told him that I could make a much better offer and that i'm just down the road and would like to arrange to see it.
he told me a couple of people are interested etc.. etc.. Then said that they are moving premises and to wait for him to get in touch. So who knows.
I saw Hannah's in the snow. It does look great. Though had i bought the one last night (black) i'd have had an extra £700 free mods.

I was giving it some thought that maybe this is not an early falco registered later.
But a 2002 bike that had been painted up in fast black'
What also made me think was the incorrect sticker on the rear seat fairings. Sl1000 usually is on the fairing

well -the standard exhausts are wrong
and yes the sl1000 stickers are in the wrong place....
it could be an original black and just not registered till sold....

That looks a very tidy one for you to consider.
Has belly pan and cans, but will be ready for a swap on the blue spring shock by now, but looks interesting and well looked after.
The silver ones look very good with a belly pan to match the semi matt side panels.
Not sure where either of you are?
Should be well worh a meet up if viable.

Ooooh that looks rather nice and sexy, more black on it than Alads hence it must be faster if his theory is correct?

Its got a Maxton shock fitted so no need for a swap its a brilliant shock and cost a small fortune!
Will be really sad to see her go she is mint. I'm just outside Leeds/Bradford.

OOOPS.
Sorry, that's even better, they work well on the Falco.
I briefly forgot that Maxton had blue springs.
Even more reason for our new member to have a good look!

I'm now selling my Falco too. It's an 02 that was silver but as the silver was crazing below the lacquer I had it resprayed in Honda Nighthawk Black which is a close match to the Crow Black of my seat cowl.
Its got most of the mods done. Rsv yellow spring shock with correct linkages, Mille eprom, braided clutch and front brake lines, higher Tarozzi bars, gel seat insert recovered in grey alcantara, heated grips, Venom road legal cans (plus originals), double bubble screen, clear headlight protector and more besides.
I'm after £2100 with all the mods or £1800 without the exhausts, headlight protector or double bubble screen. Mileage is around 25k (I'm away from home so I can't verify the exact miles) with loads of receipts and a little history. I'm an enthusiast so the bike has been well maintained and has had the plugs and leads replaced this year plus an oil change about 1000 miles ago. I'll chuck another oil filter in with the bike.
Pm with a sensible offer or questions. I can get pics from Tuesday onwards.
