Yep the conkers and spiders thing works, conkers have a certain smell or substance in them that spiders hate.
our spiders however have gasmasks. stormtrooper boots and are determined to take over the world.
My son hit one with a bit of paper the other day. spider stopped turned round as if looking at him, turned back round and carried on walking.
I suppose we could throw the conkers at them..

Leave the string on and they'll trip over them.Lots of legs - not much brain.Kwackerz wrote: I suppose we could throw the conkers at them..
We had a plague of huge mutant spiders at work. One of my colleagues picked one up to evict it and walked off. I heard the fire door open, then shut. And the spider walked back in alone...

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I used to work in a quarry office which was really just a series of wooden sheds joined together. It had night storage heaters and rats. The rats used to get in behind the sorage heaters and die - the smell was horrific for a few days but they soon mummified.
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Arrbut, evolution gave us the intelligence to design shovels and the upright stance needed to whack things over the head with them.Willopotomas wrote:
