Everyone is fully welcome to post any kind of sh*te they want to on here. If it gets deleted you'll know it was overstepping the mark.. As yet there's been sod all deleted really, so you're obviously (all) not trying hard enough.

It is a bit shit innit, Diabetes and following it up with MS.. It's like having a lukewarm beer and following it up with a cheap Lidl whiskey chaser. I wouldnt wish that on anyone :smt009
If there's owt I can do to help then you know where I am, (even if it's to remind you that real porridgewogs drink Whisky and Tennants Super, not Wine and Vodka... :smt002 )

Ligloo wouldn't be Ligloo if she didn't hit the voddy!

Not sure how good it is for diabetes but I guess it must make you feel good or you wouldn't do it!

Thanks everyone for your best wishes. Sam it was 12.30 not 1.30 am :smt002 unless I haven't changed the clock on here.... Yay my house clocks will be reading the correct time again soon, only been an hour out for 6 months lol.

Dale you're for it when we get out to Darwin, I'll feed you to the crocs! :smt003

Really, I shouldn't be whining, as I said a lot worse out there. Hardest thing to cope with is double vision and this so called MS Hug thing. It's like getting a bone crusher hug constantly for 3 or 4 days (was going to mention getting a hug from *insert name* but there's no one butch enough on here)
:smt003

At least I have a legitimate reason for taking to my bed now and doing no housework :smt005

Get on the cannaboids

I was partly involved in the clinical trials

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

A good friend of mine here (ex-nurse, retired as a matron) has been living with MS for several years; she swears by a spliff for ameliorating her symptoms. Her condition hasn't stopped her from being a proper party animal, either.

I think they're a bit like haemorrhoids - but the size of cannonballs

lol

i used the correct medical term - yes a reefer would have a good effect, but i think most who self treat prefer cakes etc - though chocolate brownies may not be a good idea with diabetes....

http://www.mstrust.org.uk/information/p ... nnabis.jsp would be a very good place to start i think

Blimey.. Talk about a rough deal! My little cousin has just been diagnosed with type 1, she's 9.. It's going to be a long old road for her. I know a few people with type1 and they all deal with it in different ways. Some try to fight it and get hurt, others roll with it and do what they're supposed to. One of my mates say's all type1ers (as he called em) are on borrowed time and to live each day as full as you can. Coupled with the MS, I think his words bring on truer meaning. All the best for you n' yours for the future. :smt002
