Anyone fancy a impromptu meet, in the north-west?
Jus went out for a blast and filled up first. Did not get anywhere else because the key got stuck in the fuel cap. Pushed it home and stripped it down. Cleaned and lubed. Now I am going for a blast. Off to get some brake blocs for the lads mountain bike and then off to J&S to get a pair of LED's (after a blast down the A49)
See ya later
That's a good reminder for me - had a right game getting the key in the filler when I last filled up .... must sprinkle the graphite powder a bit this afternoon!paddyz1 wrote:I'm in.Firestarter wrote:Been already - quick blast to Manchester Airport to deliver the shock to Falken (cheers!)

As for a rideout - well you lot are too far away for today and here it looks as though it's about to piss it down ! (normal weather for us Falco riders, eh!?)

Been out again
Here to Buxton to Chapel-en-le-Frith, and back via Macclesfield, 'bout 2 1/2 hours. Longest ride I've had so far this year, and boy do I know it now!
Back to jobs around the house
I'll see what tomorrow brings, but if anyone's up for it, a quick blast out tomorrow could be arranged with "Domestic Management"

Talking of the weather .... contrary to much of the general opinion that seems to pervade, my view was that the past year has been particularly wet. I think the general view is because of the London-centric media overplaying a localised water-shortage last summer.
Well, during a BBC weather forcast during the week they confirmed that the past 12 months were the wettest since records began!
Nice to be proved right ... but I hope for a dryer year ahead to ride the bike!
