Can anyone tell me if the newer Mille and RSV start and kill swith gear is a straight forward swap over?

Do what I did when mine caused a momentary cut whilst I was leaning over and I didn't want that to happen again and short the wires bypassing the switch.

Its meant to be a MoT failure if it doesn't work but in 6 years, its never been checked

Pop the switch open and give it a good clean, prolly only got some corrosion on the terminals.

D-Rider did a write up somewhere.

That was the horn switch, Dale.
I think the starter button is probably the same but the kill switch is probably different.

I may have spare switch....

Repeat may

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

No way. That sounds like fruit and/or vegetables.

Took the switch apart, seems like someone has cut the wires on the kill part of the switch, maybe as a result of the side stand switch not working and had been by passed.

I have sorted the side stand switch out with a honda fireblade side stand switch. If the kill part of the switch has been butchered, I will defo need a replacement. Anyone got one that they would be prepared to let go for a small fee?

I see one on ebay but it looks a bit faded.
