MPL clutch slave leaking

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Fri Sep 09, 2011 8:35 am

Went to the steed the other day and noted a lack of clutch fluid... Topped up and found the performance was poor - so set to bleeding the clutch

Damn thing leaked a lot under minimal pressure :(

So, took it off, and refitted the original - I have contacted MPL to send it back

I will keep folk informed as to what MPL's service is like

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

MPL have been known to send seals out to people who plead enough. RossGuzzi, one of the Ausie guys on AF1 posted up how he serviced his (with pics) http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/show ... hlight=mpl
..... and also Joecrx did the same in our own technical section: https://www.ridersite.com/viewtopic.ph ... hlight=mpl

Did anyone ever measure an MPL seal up, to see if an alternative was commercially available?
