money no option

#1 Post by blinkey501 » Mon Aug 29, 2011 9:22 am

If money was no option and you wanted three more bikes what would they be. but you dont have to include your present bike in this has we can work on the assumption you have won some money and are adding to a collection

for me in third would be a KTM RC8 in red bull colours
second would be a new tuono v4
and firstly a DUCATI 916 sps
if i won big money this would be the start has i like honda 400/4s and a catalogue of other machines, has well has a selection of cars like a mk2 rs 2000, a brooklands 280 capri and a mk1 granada coupe, just dreaming or have i been watching to much of the professionals on dave :smt003
over to you :smt115

OK .... in addition to my Falco and 400/4, I'd have

1) Tuono V4 APRS modified with a sports fairing and clipons
2) MV F4 (always wanted one .... ok, not always but since they came out)
3) Need to think hard .... will it be a Vincent Black Shadow, will it be a Rob North Trident, will it be a Futura, will it be an old BMW boxer, will it be an early CB750, will it be an R6, will it be an off-road bike, oh, there are so many more - I can't decide ......

RD350LC

Norton RCW588 racebike

Aprilia RSV-R Haga Rep. (Number 1 of..)

Although having just looked at http://www.nortonmotorcycles.com/bikes/ I might just drop the RSVR in favour of a Commando 961.. especially with the carbon pack.. http://www.nortonmotorcycles.com/bikes/ ... ex.php?p=2

my old boss had a 1951 black shadow, he bought it six years ago and paid 17 thousand pounds then. I wonder what it would be worth now :smt017

This dream country, right? So I can still ride a bike and I'd like....

1. Moto Morini 3½ Strada - one of the later ones with disc brakes.
2. I'll fight Kwackerz for the RD350LC
3. Honda VFR400 NC30

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Bimota SB4s or katana 1000

Benelli 6

The last space n the garage is kept free for long term test rides - and I think the RSV4 tuono would be a very good start

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

1. A top of the line Aprilia RSV4 with all the goodies (whatever that is at the time)
2. A mint, zero miles, fresh out of the crate RC30. With HRC kit, of course... :smt003
3. A George Beale replica Honda 297cc six cylinder Hailwood rep. The most incredible motorcycle I have ever heard in my life. Just imagine firing that up in the back yard....

My choices have changed by one.

1959 Triumph Bonneville.

1955 Norton Manx 500cc.

And the change to the previous line up is..

The custom built Millyard V12 Kwak Z2300
