You lucky chap .... hope you win!

Fighter cans with the official pillion pegs and number plate carrier ..... are they including the factory chip that comes with this kit .... get it if you can.
Bling Bling Bling

This is what comes in the kit:

Fighter Cans

It seems that Aprilia Yorkshire sell the complete kit and all of the parts separately .... except for the chip.

Hmmm, sorry to hijack thread - will there be any way to confirm what chip/map my bike has when I pick it up? Is it easy to tell?

You'll need to open your ECU and have a look. The ECU is under the seat. Of course, you may not actually need to open it - if it's obviously never been opened before, you've got the standard chip.

If you have, I guess you'll also want to know whether it's been derestricted ....

To derestrict, remove part 8 from the airbox:

And snip the wire shown to enable the second map:

Easy!

Thanks! Think I've read somewhere that there are/were updated maps applied at service time - or is this for other Aprilia's?

There are 2 maps in the standard chip - cutting the wire selects the map compatible with the derestricted air-box.

I suppose that being in the catering business, Gio has the ability to burn his toast in many other colours than the standard black carbon-film that the rest of us manage ..............

So.... were you "krepps2001" also known as "Bidder2"? If not, bad luck ..... mind you, I'd not have gone to £320.05 .....

BTW, I was only watching to see what they'd go for - not actually bidding.

Weren't me. I wasn't going to that much dosh either. But I was on my way to being very drunk on Friday night so that's might be why I missed the closing of bids.
