disgusting tim

how can the youth of today look themselves in the face?

but on a serious note - i really do feel a lot of empathy for the old brigade that went out and slapped a teenager or two...

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Despite Tim's objection to babysitting I think the armed forces could have a role to play.
The numbers involved are obviously swamping the judiciary never mind the prison service. I think one of the best and probably most effective lessons these thugs could have would be a spell in Boot Camp which could be quickly organised. I'm sure the army would run a tighter ship than is currently the case.

I think that's an excellent idea, but first of all the police have to made to re-classify them as football hooligans, which is much worse than looters, arsonists, murderers etc..
Then, rather than sitting back and observing the scumbags raiding shops, they wade straight in with battons, beat the shit out of them, then pile dozens of them into a small van, (not the two cops to one scumbag situation we have now).
They could then take them off to the local nick, where they should keep them for 24 to 48 hours on basic rations, (bread and water if a 5* menu is not available), until they can get them shipped out to the bootcamps.
Once there they should only get out once they had completed the full "training" period of between 2 and 4 weeks.
No letting them fail at stage one and getting themselves sent back home, so we didn't abuse their civil rights.

Bring back National Service!

I avoided that one Will, it would have the army out on strike. They dont want em either.

I say bring back National Service too! It doesn't have to be the armed forces as long as it has the same kind of dioscipline.

As for Tim's remark
I see this being a turning point for 'human rights' as well as health and safety.
I love an optimist - but you'll be disappionted!
Then the PM.. old enough to do the crime, old enough to be punished.. as well as something about them not being mollycoddled by human rights, theyll be getting assfekked. Simple as
Talk is cheap. It's action we need.

I've got a good collection of hammers and mallets. Pretty sure I've got some nails in the shed too.

Bloody right we dont!! We're busy enough without babysitting your lot's dregs. We've managed to recruit the more sensible ones (trust me, there aint much difference twixt what youre stuck with and some of what we got in through the recruiting office) but we really dont want any more.

Maybe you could run these bootcamps with some of the old school retired (as in retired after 22 years service, not an OAP..) and utilise some of the old disused airfields and camps.

Outlay:
Sponsored accommodation.. portakabins and thunderboxes will do

Food and cooking stuff (outdated rations are fine, with some fresh veg and fruit.. no crisps, coke or chocolate.

4 Km of barbed wire, 6 tons 6' Pickets, half a ton of 2' pickets and a gate per camp.

After that its down to what the people running it need but i reckon 30k per camp will cover it.

Oh and a machine gun tower or two to shoot deserters.
