Great to meet you and Mel today Ben. Sorry I couldn't stay longer but really enjoyed the meet. Saw your 44.1sec run so hope the final results went your way.
It was my first visit to a hill climb meeting. None stop action and loads of intersting bikes and cars and a very friendly paddock. Highly recommended and would be a great opportunity to get a barrage of Falcos together. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Great to meet you Dave. Thanks for coming to find us - appreciated.
Got to a 44.05 in the end. My rear tyre seems to be going off a bit now. I had a couple of slides out of the final corner on runs that could have been in the 33s but it wasn't to be.
I had to settle for third in class and fourth overall. I can't complain too much as I've never been there before though.

The Falclimber will be at Wiscombe Park hillclimb, near Honiton Devon tomorrow. It's the 500 Club classic car event and the bikes run too. Lots to see. If anyone wants to come along and say hi, please do.
Wiscombe is an amazing hill in a beautiful location. The big bikes are a bit of a handful at this track but by golly they go when opened up on the straights!

Update to the above post re: Wiscombe. Falco took top step in the 1300 class and fifth overall.
At Gurston Down hillclimb a couple of weekends ago, the Falco took top step in the 1300s, third overall and set a new class record (the old record had stood for six years).
Next outing is this Sunday at Tregrehan Gardens near Par in Cornwall. Come along and say hi if you're in the area.

Shelsley Walsh update
Twas a good weekend for the Falclimber last weekend at Shelsley. The ol gal took first in class, set a new class record (the old one had stood for 10 years) and took the overall win with Fastest Time of Day.
I took some onboard video of the final run - I'll get it up onto youtube and link it once I've figured out how.
This weekend 9/10th July the Falclimber will be at Loton Park nr Shrewsbury. If anyone fancies a rideout to come say hi then we'd love to see you.

Loton Park update:
What a great track! Never been there before, so was hoping for a top three in class and a time to qualify for the top ten run-off.
There are a couple of guys in the 1300 class with stripped Suzuki TLs. One is a 1040 with Renthals and the other a 1080 with big bars, single-sided swingarm etc (very, very nice engineering on this one). They've both been there earlier in the season for a non-championship round, so I was expecting to come third to them.
It turns out that the Falclimber seems to suit the track...
The weather kept threatening to rain but it stayed dry. On the saturday championship round the Falclimber took first in the 1300s and set a new class record, and took third overall.
On the sunday (a non-championship round) we managed another first in class and took the win overall - resetting the 1300 class record in the process.
I've gotta say, the Falclimber is working far better than I ever expected - regularly beating the big-bore, big power TLs. It's not the power, so it must be the handling from the reduced weight (40kg less than standard) and quality suspension (standard Showa forks and white spring RSV Sachs with fresh oil and gas).
Go Falco!
