... Thanks for the heartening responses. No offence taken regarding the 'TLC needed' comment - I'm not the most conscientious Falco owner. I've learned some lessons in the last 3-4 years - not the least of which is what to look for in a replacement one. I was well and truly an impatient pigeon fit to be plucked when I bought mine: stupidly high mileage, stickerless, and sensible-mod free, and a non-starter the 2nd day after buying (crap battery), when I paid £3k for it from a dealer.

Seriously contemplating SORNing this one and going shopping again (pretty yellow one for about £3.4k on MCN). Would do it tomorrow but I'm shopping for another flat with a garage by the end of July.

Yellow???

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

£3.4k for a yellow one :smt017 - sounds a lot to me (and would also be a lot for one of that age in a proper colour)

... With Mille swingarm, ohlins, less than 10k on the clocks and blue-flame zorsts. Was daydreaming about offering 3k or less. What's wrong with yellow? Lol
