Having bought the one off Falco9 i think they should be refered to as 'milky' lens as they are not really as clear as you would perceive 'clear' to be (going on the one the one i had), it didn't look right on my red Falco anyway, needed to see to be sure but would be better on a silver one i think if you can get one. Think the darker 'smoked' ones look better

Did advertise it on here but ended up going to someone on Af1 forum

Just to clarify the history on these lenses.

The first lot were made by Mikeo and were largely bought by people on here and AF1.
When the moulds were worn out Mikeo stopped making them.

Following a clamour for more of them, GregD-UK took up the challenge and made further batches in 2 varieties:
  • Clear
    • and
    Smoked
(I have one of his Smoked ones)

I believe his moulds are now worn out.

If I remember correctly, Greg actually made a bit of a loss on the production and sale - which isn't good (there was a bit of chipping in to help defray costs but I believe he still lost out)

..... so, not sure which ones are the "milky" ones ..... Mikeo's, Greg's, Clear or Smoked ......

I like mine

.... at least it will have to do until one of those rare red ones comes up again

Not wishing to split hairs Andy but i imagined a 'clear' to be similar to my Tuono indicator lenses, but the lens i had was 'technically clear' but had a milky apearance...making it more appealing on a silver bike

No - I was not trying to split hairs either - just a bit of background to the variety of clear(ish) lenses to inform those who have not been on the forum so long.

i believe that there may well be a smoked one at the norfolk bash.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
