I've managed to bag myself a couple of tickets (half-price

) for tomorrow's MotoGP at Silverstone so will be going with the Forum's Fantasy Road Race Leader (my son)
Is anyone else going? ...... it would be good to find someone else that might not spend the whole day gloating that they've pulled even further ahead in the Fantasy League ............

Only wish I was going.

In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Sounds like envy to me......

Can't quite see Andy as a brolly dolly.
Wonder if Paris will be holding the brolly for the 125 pole.

So it's your son that's cunningly schmoozed to the top of the leaderboard, is it? For one so (comparatively) young, he has a worryingly good grasp of how to succeed.
Spoken as the person in 2nd place, with scant chance of overhauling him...

Well the Falco-jet-ski made it to Silverstone and back .... missing all the traffic by travelling the country lanes through little villages.
Daniel went on his (1975) CB125. He managed to emulate Cal and set a trend for Simoncelli and Lorenzo to follow by binning it on the way.
I kept telling him to take it easy but the advice was not well heeded on a narrow hump-back bridge on a bend with a car coming the other way .... though he did only go down at about 5mph. Bent his footrest a bit which stopped the kickstart returning properly - but no biggie - I'll sort it tomorrow.
Silverstone has been mightily revamped but it is still crap from a spectator point of view .... lets hope Donnington gets the races back before too long.
Still, it was a good but wet day out ..... weather much like the Durham weekend of a few years back but with no breaks in the weather whatsoever.

Why am I not surprised that Noah brought the rain....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I thought he must have gone on the bike. Did race control ban him in the future?

Glad Daniel is safe and hope it hasn't knocked his confidence too much.
