Any chance of the Yorkshire lot arranging something similar up there, perhaps next year, or later this season? Perhaps somewhere like Helmsley?
...sounds like a good idea...just don't make it the 16th Sept!

the Moors (colours) would be nice later in the year, pos a bit quieter too? Would suggest Thirsk, Wetherby (nearer to A1 and close for Dales and Moors) or Helmsley (Moors/coast) as a base?

:smt001
IIRC, Wetherby's a bit of a dump, & busy. Thirsk was nicer, the last time I was there, about 25 years ago.

I got home this afternoon after visiting my sister and family near Abergavenny, haven't got my pics downloaded (or uploaded) yet. It was a great weekend in spite of the fact my trike didn't make it and I was in the car.

Great to meet everyone but I still can't remember which forum name goes with which real name and which face but it didn't really matter, everyone was great!

Many thanks to Martin for all the planning and organising and Hanna for the shopping!

And James must be the youngest ever Ridersiter to attend a meet!

Thanks again to mart for arranging this, had a really great weekend, really nice to meet some new faces.

Even better the fut fut's actually tied in numbers with the falco's allowing for some decent weather which strangly dissapeared as soon as more falco's turned up wierd that innit.

I also have some apologies for anyone that may have stopped off at the station cafe on thier way home after my recommendation, I did exactly this and spent the rest of my time from sunday afternoon till this morning having either my ass or my face sugically connected to the lav with a bout out food poisoning lol :smt078
