there has been something strange going on with a few uk web sites recently - and not just associated with windoze....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

not much of a cut as you can see

i suggest that offering the belly pan up is the easiest way to see it - i cut an ellipse out of around 4cm long and 0.75 cm wide - but offer it up and see

It's alive I tell you it's alive !!! :smt077 All back together again albeit a "tighter” fit then normal with the fairing and that's after hacking in with a dremel ( must confess top mate turned up just in time as I was about to hack in so quite happily stepped aside and let him crack on being the skilled man he is..........well what are mates for !!)

Everything is looking good re-rooted cooler pipe where it should be and all fairing bolts back in BUT ( there's always a BUT ) I notice the oil tank touches the fairing just back from the cut which would mean taking loads out so I’m assuming it's an OK to leave as is ???

Will wait till i get full nod of agreement from the gods before i start smiling and by all means get in touch if you fancy staying just check the calander on the web site for free dates ... :smt003

OK here goes and taken from phone camera as well so not the best :

First one is looking back through "the cut " towards the rear :

Image

Second is looking down with " the cut " up front : -

Doesn't look like i need to make "the cut " any bigger as it's not touching at he front now , was thinking maybe a bit of bending on the tank lugs to try and get it to sit in closer to the bike ?? It's touching pretty much an inch & half either side of the green white join .......

I would be tempted to try and space out the top of the mounts using a couple of washers - better than trying to bend lugs i think
