heh in the ongoing falco mission to cost me a few hundred quid a month or so it feels..

I've now picked up a bunch of nails in the back tyre

Pete down at (what is now aire valley tyres, used to be BMF) did a great effort trying to patch it all up and its fine but its got the slowest puncture now on the rear that his patching didn't solve

I reckon the tyre has a good couple of thousand miles left in it (amazed at how these dual compound tyres are lasting) so binning it isn't going to be a happy thing to do. It's not even squared off. I think the dual compound thing is meaning the wear is much more even so despite the fact its done 5k or something, its still nice and round (when fully inflated).

I'm now open to crazy ideas to plug this hole and save me another fistful of notes for a few months at least.

Preferable not involving injecting something into the tyre which will rot the rims or cause any other major drawbacks..

I was actually thinking of finding the hole (its actualling right in the depth of the tread) and just pouring a load of super glue on it. Is that stupid?

heard bad things about gloopy stuff - does it not knack your rims, cause balancing issues?

Thought you sorted that out pretty quickly! Make sure the silver reflective tape is put down on the inside of the bellypan also if it isn't already (near exhaust pipe area)

Last year when i did bring the bike up i did indeed do the road to Hawes, halfway between the Viaduct and Hawes took this pic...

Replied to your PM, did you get it?

I see now you're in Yorks, so are unlikely to be coming in for an installation

DIY bottle is £26.50 delivered and will do both tyres.

Top installation tip: make a small hole in the bottom of the bottle and insert the adapter for blowing up footballs you get with a foot pump into it, then use the foot pump to push the sealant into the tyre (being careful to put the right amount in!!!). Way easier then trying to squeeze the bottle by hand!
