Where you going from? If you're anywhere near me on the journey I've got a spare stand you can borrow.szrdave wrote:Anglesey GP, first time there. Camping two nights so really hoping the weather is good!Falcopops wrote:Looking good Dave, be sure to send us the link to the vids when done.
What track you doing?
If you've got a paddock stand take the sidestand off too, it's been known to drag
No paddock stand unfortunately, and there are a couple of decent left-handers. Hopefully there won't be a repeat of this:

I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?
Thanks for the offer Rob, but we're driving up from London and are pretty short on time as it is!
It's also my first day at Anglesey, first track day of the year and first one on the Falco, so I probably won't be pushing that hard anyway.
At the first sign of it decking out I can always pull the stand off and just lean it against a wall

Tbh mate I went round Anglesey earlier this year and my (standard) exhausts were down long before the stand.
You'll have an absolute ball there as the track is brilliant. Well suited to the Falco due to having lots of slower speed corners and short straights which rely on grunt and drive rather than huge amounts of power. Plus, though it's relatively easy to learn in a couple of sessions, it's quite technical and will take most of the day for you to start getting the best from it.
Enjoy mate. It's what bikes were designed for.
(PS - if you value them at all I would strongly recommend replacement of the footpegs with aftermarket tat prior to going. Otherwise you'll end up with massive pub kudos and feck all to put your feet on.
