I'm not alone then! :smt006 Where is the fun to ride a bike in the rain? Especially in the winter, with all that corrosive crap everywhere? :smt012

I don't mind riding in the rain, its a good way to improve bike skills, just don't do it if its wet to begin. :smt001

I'd guess and say thats cos you have to work for a living, its a lot easier for me, I'm a part time worker (ie when the feeling takes me :smt003 ) plus being nearly always at home even in the typical british weather I know I can always ride out for an hour when its stopped :smt005

Did I :smt017 , maybe I misspelt :smt059

Yeah its a lovely looking bike and I'm glad I've got it. I'll have to keep it clean as well (don't fancy Rich bad mouthing me for a dirty bike :smt005 )

I've never been to Donny, but if a few Falco's will be there, then I must make the effort, so I'll keep watch for posts about it :smt001

Oh yes, you certainly did (but I can't be bothered to find it either!)

Yep - there is a thread already about this somewhere - but discussion's gone a bit quiet lately. You can book in advance - not only to attend but for some track time too. We've had the idea of massed Falco flock fly-past - swooping down through craner curves towards the old hairpin. We've got to do it and your bike needs to be part of it!

Depends how fast you go, I'm slow on tracks I don't know and the word swooping sounds a bit leary :smt118

It was on the old site, wasn't it?

Ah, here it is.

Not really a track day, more like formation flying! :smt003 :smt003

No idea about the quality of the event, but it sounds like a good excuse to meet up. :smt001

Maybe a mod could shift the thread this side :smt003 then it saves searching. :smt001

You’ve got a really nice bike there Gio, so please look after it and enjoy. The bike had the perfect pedigree, built in Italy, refined and nurtured in Yorkshire and looked the absolute dogs b******* even if it wasn’t black. :smt004
Nice to see it go to somebody on the site.
Keep in touch Rich, whatever you ride next, even if you do go for the Gixer, we seem to have lost a few Yorkies since we moved sites, and can’t afford to lose any more.
After all, this is still supposed to be the Riders Site, (without the Aprilia bit at the front for now anyway). There do not seem to be many non Falco riders at the moment, so you could help swell the ranks.
Just a quick word for TwinNut, we might not talk too much about football on this side of the Pennines, don’t mean we don’t like it, just don’t have much to talk about, that anybody outside Yorkshire would be interested in!
Certainly nowt to brag abart lately.
Anyway, lots of footie fans go on about “there’s only one United”, but there really is only one Wednesday!
Sadly I'm still livin off the memories of 4 visits to Wembley in 1993.
Probably have to cherish them for many years yet.
When is Donnington by the way?
Have a feelin I've messed up as I'm on holiday for two weeks in May.
