Batteries batteries batteries.
I am going to be resiting the battery to under the pillion seat when I eventually get round to doing the swingarm as I need to delete the battery tray for it to work. What batteries do you guys recommend, I can then look to see which ones will be safe to operate on their side, if I will have to modify the single seat cowl. Cheers

I've just fitted a Dynavolt gel battery, which I recken should be OK in this position, but best to check with them.

Re: Batteries batteries batteries.
Have you actually measured up to see if you will have a clearance issue with the battery box? I ask because I'm sure that when Hansie did the swap to the Gen2 swinging arm he did have enough clearance after removing the plastic flap. It was close but I'm sure I remember it did fitFalconihlist wrote:I am going to be resiting the battery to under the pillion seat when I eventually get round to doing the swingarm as I need to delete the battery tray for it to work. It was a while ago though, so I may be wrong

Worth looking into though as it would make life a whole lot easier for you

That's what I was thinking. at the moment, I don't have the little protector fitted as I had a hugger on the bike when I bought it. I am intending to raise the ride height, as I can currently sit on the bike with my legs slightly bent and feet flat on the floor.
I think for the time being, I will do the swingarm swap, and get it set up correctly. Going to try and book it in at Griff's with a Nooj clean in May hopefully.
