#1 Post by D-Rider » Wed Jun 10, 2009 2:49 pm

Seals etc are hard to come by .... The thread below tells the story and eventually finds a source!

Has anyone ever found replacement seals for the rear calliper?

I don't believe so - but we have someone who can match them for us if we have parts we can send him

Does he know about it yet? ;)

Can you pm me his details, I might be cleaning my callipers soon. Do we want the fronts measured as well or do we stick with the KTM sourced seals?

Well, it does say in the advert:

APRILIA SL 1000 FALCO 1000 2000 >

So I guess the only way is to know is to splash the cash... And if two of those ten seals don't fit, then you can always ask for a refund. TBH, if it was me and I needed replacement seals for my rear caliper, I'd give it a go...

Interesting. Normal Brembo pistons are hard anodised aluminium. Stainless will undoubtedly be more durable, at the expense of slight (unsprung) weight increase.

If the seller were to offer these items in titanium, we'd have the best of all worlds...

For titanium, expect to pay well over £100 for a pair :smt001
