Will take you no longer than 10 mins. Fairing comes off in 2 secs, very self explanitory, just wraps around (it flexes a bit to, which makes it easier)
Solenoid is straight unscrew and unplug jobbie. Changing a bulb is harder.

Will suggest disconnecting the battery first. Its very easy to short the connections, doing so will make it spark, and make the starter spin. And will scare the shit out of you, haha

This is a problem i had with my bike, same symptoms as yours (except mine doe it hot and cold) just took a couple of times to start, relay fixed it, been fine since

Cheers tommy, confidence restored I'll have a pop at this at some point. Any suggstions as to the best solenoid to replace it with?
